Commission Advancing Commissions and overrides are advanced nine (9) months. An agent and/or the up-line advance period may be reduced if poor “quality of business” issues persist. Chargebacks are taken 100% on next advance. If there is no advance it then goes to back end commissions Commissions and Override Advances Commissions are paid by carrier.
Commission & Override Payments Commissions and overrides are paid 1 of 2 ways: PAID ON PAID – Paid upon policy issuance and when draft first premium payment. PAID ON ISSUE (Select Agent Program) – Paid when the policy is issued but prior to receiving 1 st premium payment. Policy draft dates may be post-dated a maximum of 30 days. Note: To be Paid on Issue (Agent Select Program), an agent or up-line must: 1.) Demonstrate that they have met certain quality of business metrics with another FE carrier, or 2.) It is imperative that quality business is submitted at all times as this effects agent’s commission status – Pay special attention to the Prescription Drug List inc. “Rx Fill Within” and “Benefit Eligibility”
