They come up against standardization in their specialist work in that they require, for example, standardized methods, processes, metrics or products. Standardization experts These technical experts are personally engaged in standardization and, with their knowledge, represent the interests of their company in national or international standards bodies. He is aware of the benefits of standardization (the application of standards), is to some extent operationally linked into the company's standardization strategy, and is frequently seconded to standards work as an expert.
