We specialise in the development and management of education-related projects and in monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness. We work at a local level with schools, colleges, universities, local authorities and community groups in the UK. European projects – older projects DHE Solutions has been involved in European Union Education projects for seven years as bid writer, partnership broker, project partner and evaluator. InterAct ( ) was a Leonardo da Vinci pilot project aimed at improving ‘New basic skills' amongst workers in the Health and Hospitality sectors. DHE Solutions Co-ordinated and evaluated the UK partners. InterAct FACE IT! ( ) was a trans-national cooperation project within the Socrates Grundtvig programme and involves developing a trainer-training programme to deliver family learning within the context of active citizenship. FACE IT! No Child left behind ( ) was a Comenius Multilateral project based around international good practice in Study Support or Out of Hours Learning. DHE Solutions is the external evaluator on this project. Office InterActors ( ) is a Leonardo da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation project based around improving transferable key skills for office based workers. European projects – current projects TOOL Tipls ( ) is a Leonardo da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation project based around developing a common vocational English language competence assessment tool for workers in the Hospitality industry. DHE Solutions provides research and internal evaluation. TOOL Tipls MyStory ( ) is a Key Activity 3 (ICT) project based around developing an online repository of stories from older EU citizens. These will be recorded by technically competent young people from High Schools and Universities. DHE Solutions is co- ordinating the efforts of UK partners and providing internal evaluation. MyStory INTEGRA ( ) is a Grundtvig Multilateral project which aims to work with migrant communities and financial institutes to provide a training package to improve financial management and language skills. DHE Solutions is co-ordinating efforts for UK partners and providing internal evaluation INTEGRA ITAAT ( ) is a Grundtvig learning partnership based around sharing good practice within recent IT interventions in the field of adult training. DHE Solutions - other projects DHE is also involved in many projects in the UK. Here are a few current or recent projects: Dads in demand – Is a three-year national project to encourage dads to spend more constructive time with their children by creating simple animations. Partners include: The Campaign for Learning and The British Film Institute and is supported by Big Lottery funding. DHE Solutions is conducting an extensive longitudinal evaluation Dads in demand Supplementary schools - DHE Solutions has conducted studies and evaluations from many Supplementary Schools in London. Research currently is focusing on whether attendance at Supplementary school improves attainment in the mainstream.
