Research and Development at Oulu Polytechnic The main objective of the research and development activities at Oulu Polytechnic is to develop teaching by increasing expertise. Research and Development is a solid part of the studies and motivates teachers to become top experts in teaching and in their own professional fields. Research and Development is professionally oriented and closely related to the working life. The changing competence requirements of the working life can flexibly be taken into consideration when planning the education.

R & D project examples at Oulu Polytechnic - With the Software Business Competence Project (SBC) the School of Business Studies of Oulu Polytechnic further develops software business education and IT-related learning environment in cooperation with companies.
