Orienting and Training Like any other sport there is a rule book for everyone to follow. Volunteers need to know what is expected of them from the start. It is also very important for them to know and have an understanding of the organization they are working with and ultimately represent.

Utilizing Talents of Volunteers Sewing, cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing, sports, cars, etc. Hobbies are a key way to utilize your volunteers. Volunteers need to know the content they are teaching so make it something they are interested in to keep them volunteering.
