 The gays are feeling insulted by other peoples reviews on there lifestyle and their sexuality…  They feel this way because at this moment they do not have to the right in the majority of the states to marry who they would like too.  We agree that individuals, gay or not, should have the right to choose who they would like to marry and spend the rest of their life with, however we would not do this personally; But they should have the right to!

 In the Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson wrote that… “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”  As stated by Jefferson all people have the right to pursue happiness, therefor if this makes these certain individuals feel happy it is their right to be able to make this life decision to get married.

Dear Senator Robert L. Venables, The reason we are writing to you is to discuss how we feel about the right of Gay Marriage. We believe that these individuals who are homosexual should have the choice/right to marry who they choose, even if they are the same sex. In the Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson stated that… “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”As stated by Jefferson all people have the right to pursue happiness, therefore, if this makes these certain individuals feel happy it is their right to be able to make this life decision to get married. Yes, we know there are many people in the United States that don’t agree with gay marriage and would not partake in gay marriage like us, however we feel as though they should have they right to choose who they love and who they want to spend their life with. We would like to thank you for your time and considering our view on this topic.
