THE ALLEN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE PRESENTS NEW YEARS SAFETY TIPS PRESENTED BY: SAMUEL A. CRISH, SHERIFF

As an annual tradition thousands of people make resolutions at the beginning of each new year, to help remind themselves to strive to become better people throughout their daily lives. This year I thought that I would take the time to point out some issues to think about while everyone is making their NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS for this upcoming of NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

1.Be a safer driver. Allow more time for traveling to your destination. If you find yourself hurry you will probably find yourself speeding, or running that red light because your are behind schedule or running late for work. 2.Don’t drive and drive. Impaired drivers can cause the loss of life, damage to property, are subjected to arrests, forced to carry high risk insurance policies, and spend time in jail. 3.Obey traffic laws. Traffic laws are enacted to protect you and I while traveling Allen County roadways. From yielding to an emergency service vehicles, to carrying your license and proof of financial responsibility with you at all times, Officers from our Office will be scheduled to enforce traffic laws

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS Holiday Season though out Allen County. 4.Slow Down Speed is usually the number one cause for most accidents that occur on Allen County Roadways. When drivers travel at the posted speed limits, there is usually time enough to react to emergency situations. 5. Turn your headlights on Just a reminder that when inclement weather arises, drivers are reminded to turn their windshield wipers on, and also their headlights, it a State Law,

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the residents of Allen County a safe New Year in Samuel A. Crish, Sheriff
