 Hardware is the physical part of the computer  It is the things “you can see and touch”  It is split up into 2 categories:

 Input devices  Output devices

 Devices that allow you to INPUT or ENTER information into the computer.

 Devices that give the user information

 Central Processing Unit  Big phrase that means it “runs everything”  It makes sure that everything is communicating properly  Everything plugs into it
