Example Operating System: Windows Application software Its the computer software designed to help the users to perform specific tasks. Examples: MS Word for creating handout, test paper, certificates, worksheets etc MS Excel for creating tabulation sheets, result analysis etc

Internet Searching Browser Its a software that is used to retrieve information from the WWW. Example: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox WWW It stands for World Wide Web, commonly known as the Web, is a system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet. Search Engines A search engine is designed to search for the information on WWW. Examples: Google, Yahoo, Google Crome
