Your guide to your festival job & experience

How to make the most of your experience To make sure you get the best from this experience you need to make preparations in advance. Make sure you’ve packed every essential item you need to take and tick them off on your checklist to make double sure you’ve got everything Don’t take valuable items, you don’t want to take the risk of them getting broke, ruined or lost and they’ll just take up more room Don’t be tempted to take your most expensive clothes, you won’t need them From the minute you reach your 1 st festival, make sure you have your team leaders/supervisors telephone number, stay with the group and make sure you know where the meeting point is just in case you go astray! Make sure you have a map of the site which you will be given to you by your team leader/supervisor Before pitching up your tent do the obvious things like making sure the ground is as smooth as possible and organize your tent equipment properly, you don’t want to be messing about trying to find the last tent peg and you don’t want a rock digging in your back in the middle of the night Get your tent organized and keep it organized! It’ll save you so much time and hassle

Make sure essential valuable items are safe at all times Pay full attention to health & safety instructions throughout, this is so important it’s unreal! As you know it is essential you look after your own and others safety at all times! Pay full attention to instructions from your team leader/supervisor when you start work, you’ll know exactly what you have to do, you’ll do a good job and you’ll feel great at the end of a good days work Eat & drink as sensibly as possible, you’ll need to keep your energy levels up and try to drink 1 1/2 litres of water a day Have fun, you’d be mad not to but don’t go over the top, remember you’re there to work and it is essential you look after your health, safety & well-being When you pack up ready for your next festival, tick off your checklist again to make double sure you’ve got everything you need And last but not least always remember the harder and better you work the better you can play!

Meet Our Chairman & Founder Hello My Name is Dennis Duffus founder of Squeaky Cleaning Group. I felt it important that anyone applying for work in the event cleaning division Clearly understood a few key points. 1)The division only has requirements for staff during the summer months our current season being April to October. 2)We will never ask for a security deposit to ensure staff reliability As a result of this we only welcome applications from individuals who can somehow demonstrate there reliability & ability to work as a part of a Team. No previous experience needed as Full Training will be given. We can also arrange end of season references upon request for your CV.
