How can you change your life ?

What is the difference between life in the past and life today in your village? Do you like to live in a village or in a city ? What can be changed ? habits, norms … ? Is life today better than life in the past ? Do you like your school ?do you prefer to go to other schools? Can you count everything around? Do you have web-pals ?what is the difference between your life and their life?

Skills needed -Reading skill and its sub-skills: 1.Skimming and scanning. Social skills: 1.Communicating with others. Information technology skills 1.Searching for information. 2.Browsing. 3.Downloading files. 4.( writing s, chat, creating a wiki) Writing skills

Procedures The class is going to be divided into seven groups Each group has a certain task

observe the life of the city and whether it is better living in a city ( take notes of the places you are going to visit : factories, stadium, transport … ) then you will write a paragraph about the comparison between life in a city and your life in a countryside The first group :

The second group The second group will take notes about the food and drinks to be brought in your trip and make a comparisons using determiners ( much, many …) to write a paragraph.

The third group You will Practice giving opinions (Express agreement and disagreement giving reasons.) and write dialogues about the comparison between life in a city and life in a countryside.You will dramatize dialogues

Group four You are going to search the web about school life in different countries and compare them with your school life

Group five You are going to write an about school life in Egypt ( Each one in the group will write a day in his school and collect them to write one to a web-pal )

Group six You are going to ask your family about changes in your countryside and did everything changed ( morals – habits – the people) and whether everything changed was to bad or to better. Write a paragraph using “used to ” and “ be used to”.

Group seven You are going to create a wiki and a blog to publish your discoveries and share the society

It’s going to be hard and fun work you will receive prizes let’s start …..
