What wrong with roadside checks? Nothing wrong with practice of carrying out checks, only comments with regard to \procedures, equipment, infrastructure and competances.

How to improve 1 – site layout (weighing pads?) 2 – examine all aspects of vehicle not just ADR 3 – have a step by step approach to examinations 4 – involvement from all agencies/departments 5 – procedures for ‘opening’ seals, many goods vehicles had seals restricting examination 6 – improve layout of check form
