Our state’s nickname is The Natural State. Our state is in the South East region. Our state’s capital is Little rock. Some of our states major cities include Mississippi, New port, Springdale. Our states population is 2,673,400 as of 2010 censes.

 The current governor of Arkansas is Mike Beebe.  The current senators of Arkansas are John Boozman ; Republican, Mark Pryor; Democrat

 The borders of Arkansas is Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana  Our states geographical features are dry and highlands.

 Some resources in our state include cotton, soybeans, paper, and diamonds.  In the section of geography it says the Mississippi river deposits fertile soil so, yes.
