Prepositions - ه، - هُمْ، - كَ، - كُمْ، - ي، - نَا، - هَا along with To you be your religion and to me my religion. لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ. for لَ ، لِ 1367 I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast. اَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ :: from مِنْ 3026 May Allah be pleased with him رَضِيَ الله ُ عَنْهُ :: with, about عَنْ 404 Indeed! Prepositions - ه، - هُمْ، - كَ، - كُمْ، - ي، - نَا، - هَا along with In the name of Allah بِسْمِ اللّهِ in, with بِ 510 In the path of Allah. فِي سبيل الله in فِي 1658 Peace be upon you all. السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ :: on عَلَىٰ 1423 Indeed, we are for Allah and Indeed we are to return to Him. اِنَّا ِ للهِ وَاِنَّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْن. to, toward إِلَىٰ 736

أنْ، أنَّ، إن، إنَّ، If Allah wills. إِنْ شَاءَ الله :: if, not إِنْ 628 Indeed, mankind is surely in loss إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ. indeed إِنَّ 1297 I bear witness that there is no god except Allah أَشْهَدُ أن لاّ إِلـٰـهَ إلاّ الله :: that أَنْ 576 Muhammad (pbuh) is) His slave and His Messenger. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُولُ اللهِ :: that أَنَّ 263

إنّمَا، لَوْ، Actions are based only on intentions. إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّات :: only, but إِنَّمَا 146 (The word) “If” opens the door of Shaitaan. لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلُ الشَّيْطَان :: if لَوْ 200 Say, “O disbelievers!” قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ. ، O! يَا، يَاأَيُّهَا 150 so that they ponder its verses and men of understanding receive admonition. لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ so that لِ - Indeed, man is SURELY in loss. إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ surely لَ - The prayer is already established. قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلَوة :: already قَدْ 409

16 9a. صفات In the name of Allah, in its beginning and its ending. بِسْمِ اللّهِ فِي أَوَّلِه وَآخِرِه :: first أَوَّل ( أُولَىٰ fg. ) 82 In the name of Allah, in its beginning and its ending. بِسْمِ اللّهِ فِي أَوَّلِه وَآخِرِه :: last آخِر ( آخِرَة fg. ) 40 In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful. بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. Intensely Merciful رَحْمٰن 57 All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. Cherisher, sustainer, Lord رَبّ 970

17 9b. صفات Indeed You! Alone are the Oft-Forgiving the Most Merciful. إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الْرَّحِيْمُ :: Most forgiving غَفُور 91 And Allah is All- Knowing, All-Wise. وَالله ُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ All-Knowing عَلِيم 162 And Allah is All- Knowing, All-Wise. وَالله ُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ All-Wise حَكِيم 97 O Allah! Indeed, I have wronged myself with excessive wrongs اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ ظُلْمًا كَثِيْرًا :: excessive كَثِير ( كَثِيرَة fg. ) 74 In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful. بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. Continually Merciful رَحِيم 182

Signs آيات And Indeed, We have made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember. وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ Qur’an قُرْآن 70 Glorfies Allah, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ earth أَرْض 461 Glorfies Allah, whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ sky; heaven سَمَاء (سَمَاوا ت pl ) 310

أنبياء ، رُسُل I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُولُ اللهِ :: messenger رَسُول (رُسُل pl ) 332 Peace be on you O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه :: prophet نَبِيّ (نَبِيُّون، نَبِيِّين، أَنْبِيَاء pl ) 75 Adam, Noah, Ibrahim, peace be upon them (Prophets of Allah). آدَم نُوح إِبْرَاهِيم 127 Lut, Ismail, Yaqoub (Israel), peace be upon them (Prophets of Allah). لُوط إِسْمَاعِيل يَعْقُوب (إِسْرَائِيل) 152 Hud, Shuaib, Moses, Jesus, the son of Mary, peace be upon them (Prophets of Allah). هُود شُعَيْب مُوسَىٰ عِيسَى ابنِ مَرْيَم 225

Satan & his followers! I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast. أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيم Shaitaan, Satan شَيْطَان (شَيَاطِين pl ) Pharaoh (an Egyptian ruler) فِرْعَوْن 74

آخرة O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter رَبَّنَآ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً The hereafter الْآخِرَة Garden; The garden جَنَّة (جَنَّات pl ) الْجَنَّة Hell جَهَنَّم 77 O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter and protect us from the Fire. رَبَّنَآ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. torment, penalty, doom عَذَاب 322 O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter and protect us from the Fire. رَبَّنَآ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. fire نَار 145 Master of the day of Judgment. مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ. day يَوْم (أَيَّام pl ) 393

Creed, etc Say, “He (is) Allah the One.” قُلْ هُوَ الله ُ أَحَدٌ Allah (O Allah) الله (اَللّهُمَّ) 2702 Say, “He (is) Allah the One.”; … And there is none comparable to Him. قُلْ هُوَ الله ُ أَحَدٌ،... وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّه ، كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ. One; any one أَحَد (إِحْدَىٰ fg ) 85 There is no god except Allah لاَ إِلـٰـهَ إِلاَّ الله god إِلـٰـهَ (آلِهَة pl ) 34 This is a Book, We have revealed it to you, full of blessings… كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ... book كِتَاب (كُتُب pl ) 261 The angel of death. مَلَكُ الْمَوْت :: angel مَلَك (مَلاَئِكَة pl ) 88 and advised each other to the truth, and advised each other to the patience....وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ truth حَقّ 247

دين All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ. praise, thanks حَمْد 43 Master of the day of Judgment. ; To you be your religion and to me my religion. مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ.، لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ. system of life; judgment دِين 92 The prayer is better than sleep. الصَّلاَةُ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّوْم :: prayer صَلاَة 83 This is from the grace of my Lord. هذَا مِنْ فَضْلِ رَبِّي grace, bounty فَضْل 84 O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter and protect us from the Fire. رَبَّنَآ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. good حَسَنَة (حَسَنَات pl ) 31 The prayer is better than sleep. اَلصَّلَوةُ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّوْم :: good, better خَيْر 186

People O Allah! Indeed, I have wronged myself with excessive wrongs. اَللّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ ظُلْمًا كَثِيْرًا :: soul نَفْس (أَنْفُس pl ) 293 I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah. اَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُه وَرَسُوْلُه ، :: slave عَبْد (عِبَاد pl ) 126 Indeed, man is surely in loss. إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ. إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ... human being اِنْسَان 65 Say, “I seek refuge of in the Lord mankind, The King of Mankind, The God of Mankind ” قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ. مَلِكِ النَّاسِ. إِلـٰـهَ النَّاسِ. people, makind نَاس 248 O my people! Worship Allah! There is no deity for you except Him. يقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا الله َ مَا لَكُمْ مِّن إِلهٍ غَيْرُه people قَوْم 383

دنيا، O our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the hereafter and protect us from the Fire. رَبَّنَآ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ world دُنْيَا 115 And strive with your wealth and your selves in the path of Allah. وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ path, way سَبِيل (سُبُل pl ) 176 The path of those You bestowed favors on صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنعَمتَ عَلَيهِمْ path, way صِرَاط 46 All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ world عَالَم (عَالَمِين pl ) 73 And strive with your wealth and your selves in the path of Allah. وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ wealth, money مَال (أَمْوَال pl ) 86

26 Can you tell the meanings? أَوَّل، أُولَىٰ، آخِر، آخِرَة، رَحْمٰن، رَبّ، غَفُور، عَلِيم، حَكِيم، كَثِير، كَثِيرَة، رَحِيم قُرْآن، أَرْض، سَمَاء، ( سَمَاوات ) رَسُول، ( رُسُل ) ، نَبِيّ، ( نَبِيُّون، نَبِيِّين، أَنْبِيَاء ) شَيْطَان، ( شَيَاطِين ) ، فِرْعَوْن الْآخِرَة، جَنَّة، ( جَنَّات ) ، الْجَنَّة، جَهَنَّم، عَذَاب، نَار، يَوْم، ( أَيَّام ) الله، ( اَللّهُمَّ ) ، أَحَد، ( إِحْدَىٰ ) ، إِلٰهَ، كِتَاب، مَلَك، ( مَلاَئِكَة ) ، حَقّ حَمْد، دِين، صَلاَة، فَضْل، حَسَنَة، ( حَسَنَات ) ، خَيْر، نَفْس، ( أَنْفُس ) ، عَبْد، ( عِبَاد ) ، اِنْسَان، نَاس، قَوْم، دُنْيَا، سَبِيل، ( سُبُل ) ، صِرَاط، عَالَم، ( عَالَمِين ) ، مَال، ( أَمْوَال ) لاَ، لَمْ، مَا، غَيْر، إِلاَّ هٰذَا، هٰؤُلاَء، ذلِكَ، اُولئِكَ، الَّذِي، الَّذِينَ هُوَ، هُمْ، أَنْتَ، أَنْتُم، أَنَا، نَحْنُ مَا، ؟، مَنْ، ؟، كَيْفَ، ؟، كَمْ؟ إِذْ، إِذَا، بَعْد، ثُمَّ، عِنْدَ لَ، لِ، مِنْ، عَنْ، مَعَ، بِ، فِي، عَلَىٰ، إِلَىٰ إِنْ، إِنَّ، أَنْ، أَنَّ، إِنَّمَا، لَوْ، يَا، يَاأَيُّهَا، لَ، قَدْ
