Developments and Cooperations Main strategic partner & investor is Nanotechnology Industries, Inc. (NTI). NTI produces and markets HNIPU coatings and floorings, invests in Polymate activities, incl. new projects.

Developments and Cooperations Chemical tagging indicators for transformers’ overheating preventing – for Israeli Electrical Corporation. High-quality HNIPU floorings & coatings production: Polycoat Products, USA;Simpson Coating Group, USA; ADHpro Adhesives, Canada; Comex, Mexico;, Denber Coatings & Paints, Israel. HNIPU products in potential clients’ testing - KLB, Sika, Samatec, MainCon (Germany), BEHR, Sherwin-Williams (USA), Carini (Italy) Some recent developments: - Nano-gold filled technology for jewelry; - PTFE (Teflon) recycling nanotechnology; - Nano-treatment of agriculture seeds for productivity increasing;

CHEMICAL TAGGING INDICATORS Chemical indicators, which are suitable to be placed on potential trouble spots, and release specific substances when exposed to predefined temperatures. The chemical indicators are put on potential overheat places of the liquid-filled electrical device, according to a map suitable for each specific device, by the manufacturer or during maintenance of the device. According to the map of chemical indicators and the data of the chemical analyses, the identification of an overheated spot becomes possible, and the appropriate measures for elimination of the defect are taken. The invention is protected by PCT patent application IL2008/000224 “CHEMICAL TAGGING INDICATORS AND METHOD TO LOCATE OVERHEAT SPOTS IN LIQUID-FILLED ELECTRICAL DEVICES”

Green Polyurethane TM Green Polyurethane™ is a modified polyurethane with lower permeability, increased chemical properties and material synthesis that does not use the toxic isocyanates at any stage of production. Conventional polyurethanes are very vulnerable to environmental degradation. Green Polyurethane™, exhibit superior resistance properties to chemical degradation (30-50% better than conventional polyurethanes) and have significantly reduced permeability. Green Polyurethane™, is the next generation of polyurethanes Authors of the Green Polyurethane™, were awarded with Gold Medal at World Exhibition “EHREN-URKUNDE”, Iena, Germany, 1998 and noted with the Best Award at Polyurethane World Congress, Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1997

Green Polyurethane TM Advantages of HNIPU Green Polyurethane™ has superior properties in comparison to conventional polyurethanes (PU) Greater hydrolytic stability Improved structure Reduced permeability 3-4 time less than conventional PU Superior chemical resistance 30-50% better than conventional PU Excellent adhesiveness Safer and easer synthesis Not use the toxic isocyanate contained in conventional PU Increased number of application

HNIPU Applications Crack-resistant composite materials Due to its superior structure and excellent properties, incl. resistance to degradation, HNIPU is ideal for numerous applications, including: Crack-resistant composite materials Chemically and UV-resistant coatings Industrial flooring Rigid and soft foams Cable insulation Electrical panels and devices Sealants Glues (incl. Aluminum to Reinforced Fiberglass Plastics, Aluminum to PU or Polystyrene foam)

GreenCoat GreenCoat consists of cellulose, biodegradable polymers and other biodegradable organic additives. Due to biodegradable nature, GreenCoat decomposes in wet soil during two-three months by enzymatic action of various micro- organisms, such as fungi and bacteria, pretty much similar to ordinary paper forming a biomass. All the components of GreenCoat have the FDA approval as food packaging materials

GreenCoat Weight loss (%) of GreenCoat and Cellulose because of biodegradation in wet soil

Silaguard SILAGUARD is an organo-mineral fire-protecting coating for wood, plastic and other combustible substrates. SILAGUARD upgrades combustible substrate into “difficult combustibility” class of materials. SILAGUARD is also a fire-resistance and heat-insulating coating for metals and other noncombustible substrates.

Silaguard Excellent fire-resistance and fire-protection SILAGUARD has superior properties in comparison to fire-resistant coatings based on special epoxy resins or traditional silicates: Excellent fire-resistance and fire-protection Thermo stability up to 800ºC Flame spread index 10-20; Smoke Developed Index 15 Humid environment stable Free from greenhouse-gases, volatile organic chemicals or hazardous solvents Simple technology and relatively low cost

ALNEC-PC ALNEC-PC is an advanced nano-polymer concrete that uses a modified polymer from the liquid rubber family as a binding material for the various aggregates. ALNEC-PC contains no Portland nor any other mineral based cement as a binder and should not be compared to the commonly used concrete as a building material.

ALNEC-LRC ALNEC-LRC is a modified polybutadiene polymer that allows formation of the protective linings from the liquid state as to oppose to the currently used layer-by-layer rubber sheets application methodology. ALNEC-LRC upon polymerization forms a protective lining with corrosion resistant properties equal to the coating formed by application of the hard sheet rubber. New technology for pipelines lining corrosion protection (by using HFC vulcanization)

Advanced technology for reinforced plastics Increasing strength of reinforced plastics by using nano-treatment of glass and basalt fibers by water soluble astralenes. Technology of forming reinforced epoxy or vynil-polyesther pipes with curved parts. Technology of reinforced plastics with binder based on nano-structured soluble silicates.

Developments underway Polymate started a few new projects: - SDP technology for track nano- membranes - fire-resistant HNIPU floorings - UV-curable HNIPU coatings - Linerless thermal-activated adhesives for labels - HNIPU synthetic leather and others
