Lake County District Elementary Testing  Test results provide teachers with valuable information that assists in meeting the needs of your child.  Tests your child may take this year include the following:  Florida Assessment for Instruction in Reading (FAIR): Grades 3-5  Florida Kindergarten Readiness Screener (FLKRS)  Istation Assessments for Instruction in Reading: Grades K-5  Florida Standards Assessments for Math and ELA: Grades 3- 5  FCAT Science: Grade 5  End of Course Exams (EOC): Grades K-5

FSA: Florida Standards Assessments  FSA Writing: March 3  FSA Math: March (make ups through April 10)  FSA English and Language Arts: March (make ups through April 10)  Fifth Grade FSA Math and ELA: April 13-May 8

FSA for Writing  Students in grades 4 and 5  The prompt is written at DOK Level 3.  Students will read a paired selection of texts and then respond to a writing prompt during a minute block of time.  Paper-based test  Students are evaluated on a 10-point rubric designed by the state. (accessible to parents, students and teachers on the FSA website).
