21 st Century Kids Rolling Hills Academy Technology Plan Presented by Allison Sproles

“WE BELIEVE THE BASIC GOAL OF EDUCATION HAS NOT CHANGED; THAT IS TO PREPARE OUR STUDENTS FOR LIFELONG LEARNING AND SUCCESS IN A CHANGING SOCIETY” Youngblood (Creator). Pjyoungb (Poster). (2007, September 19). Technology plan [video] Retrieved from

We imagine a future in which all students have the necessary technological and communication skills in order to be prepared for 21 st century learning and careers.

We must prepare our students for living in an increasingly information- based society.

Our students need to have routine access to technology and instruction that will help them use that technology in a meaningful and productive manner.

Technology that will help them:

GOALS Ensure that all students and staff pursue mastery of clearly-defined technology skills for use in foundations, information acquisition, problem solving and communications Incorporate technology into teaching and learning in all curriculum areas to enable students to effectively build content knowledge

GOALS Provide and support a secure, robust, reliable and flexible infrastructure Optimize the effective use of technology by developing and fostering leadership in all levels of administration in alignment with the Technology Standards for School Administrators

GOALS Enhance learning and student achievement by using technology tools to deliver instruction Develop and support policies, plans, and procedures that standardize and streamline the implementation of current and emerging technologies in order to promote equity and access for all stakeholders
