What does a standards based classroom, school, or district look like? Each group will be given between 5-6 documents and completed templates as “artifacts” of alignment along with highlighters. In pairs, they will highlight “evidence” of alignment. 5 slide mini-lecture. This will help pull together and clarify the definition of alignment. “Whip Around” List 3 things you highlighted as evidence. Constructing our own knowledge- Chalk-talk protocol with this question: “What evidence will you see in our classrooms that indicates a focus on standards?
