(Rev 7:1-4) And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

(Rev 7:5-8) Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

(Eph 1:13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (Eph 1:14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

NOTESNOTES NOT  Notice that 1 st of all this is NOT the same sealing that is applied to Christians in the church age.  These 144, 000 have a seal in their forehead, in short to show ownership.  The other reason for their sealing, is to protect them from the wrath and the elements of judgments. (WOW what a witnessing tool)

(Rev 9:1-4) And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

(Dan 3:26) Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. (Dan 3:27) And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

NOTESNOTES  The main reason they have this sealing, is to fulfill the personal plan of God that was given to… 1.Adam (but he failed) 2.Israel (but they failed) 3. The Church (but they failed)  That plan is to reach the whole world with the Good news.

of all nations, kindreds,people, tongues (Rev 7:9) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (Rev 7:10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

NOTESNOTES  Right now there are 195 nations on this planet as we speak.  The “kindred” refers to races of people (Whites, Africans, Middle Easterners )  The “people” different groups of people that would be in the same nation and of a different culture.  Tongues (Languages) There are exactly 6,228 languages spoken on Earth today

NOTESNOTES  With a 144,000 witnesses and 6,228 languages, that would allow for 23 people per language.  With 6.6 billion on this planet, and the rapture removing ½ a billion (very generous estimation) would leave around 6 billion people at the beginning of the Tribulation. (This 4166 people for every witness) to reach in 7 years.

NOTESNOTES  Acts 2 when Pentecost came, God grated the son’s request. “Father forgive them”  God was allowing the Nation of Israel to receive their messiah.  This can be seen in the context of the 1 st three sermons preached in Acts
