SAAM, Listen We set out to create an awareness campaign which: was sensitive enough to avoid retraumatization of participants; was easy enough to not require a large commitment from casual participants; was interesting enough that many would participate; was easy to forward to others; helped us build aggregate data for research and evaluation; helped lead people to offline advocacy activities; and helped foster open discussion of sexual assault issues

SAAM, Listen Why “Listen”? Sexual assault is hard to talk about! Instead, we talk about:  Priests  Kobe Bryant  Michael Jackson “Listen” has an important meaning for all our audiences: survivors, friends, policymakers, the media.
