A DVANTAGES OF TV -it keeps people well informed; -it helps the people to relax; -it entertains the people when they are tired. -it lets us know much about the world, about the famous people and global news.

D ISADVANTAGES OF TV: It takes a lot of time; It makes us lazy; It is very harmful for our health (especially for our eyes); Some programs and films make the people violent; It contains a lot of advertisement(it encourages us to buy things we don’t need at all); It occupies all our free time.

Radio is less popular than newspapers and television. People listen to radio in cars and at work. There is a lot of music on modern radio and very few conversations. Every hour radio stations tell us news in brief. There are different types of radio stations. They are divided according to the style of music they play. There are radio stations where you can hear only classical music, rock or pop music. Some of the stations only have news and talk shows.

I NTERNET.

The internet is very useful, because it’s a huge database of knowledge, from the pictures of family trips to an analysis of quantum mechanics. Besides data, one can get from the internet, we can also send and receive- mail or electronic mail. We can get some news from the internet, because there are many information servers in the web.

ADVANTAGES One of the advantages of the internet is that you can join a community. You can create new social contacts all over the world, which you could not do so easy without the internet. You can create new social contacts all over the world, which you could not do so easy without the internet.

DISADVANTAGES One of the most negative aspects of the impact of the internet on our daily life is, in my opinion, that it alters the social behaviour, habits and abilities of people. Especially children are often badly influenced by the internet.

It is very harmful to give children access to the internet. There are many things which are not suitable for children. So, parents should explain to children to sit in front of computer is harmful for their eyesight.

They should think about the behavior of their idols critically. It is important to get into this habit from childhood. They have to be responsible for their decisions, and think about the consequences of their action

1. We can learn more about the society around us. 2. We can search for information rapidly through the Internet. 3. We can express our opinions. 4. Students can make good use of the media to learn.

1. It is dangerous to believe all the information supplied by the media because they exaggerate or give wrong message from time to time. 2.When teenagers learn about crimes from the media, they may imitate and do the same. 3. Students may neglect their studies if they are only interested in the media e.g. Internet, on–line games.
