Looking For the Crock of Gold Strengths and Challenges of Class 637 at TAPS X391

Group Strengths  Class 637 is a very energetic class with a wide variety of character traits and personalities.  We love music. We like to listen to music while we work and when we have brain breaks. Check out this great example on the last slide.  So far, we are taking the lead in 6 th grade with 100% uniform and the best Character!  We laugh and enjoy life.

Group Strengths  Class 637 is a very energetic class with a wide variety of character traits and personalities.  We love music. We like to listen to music while we work and when we have brain breaks. Check out this great example on the last slide.  So far, we are taking the lead in 6 th grade with 100% uniform and the best Character!  We laugh and enjoy life.

Group Challenges  Our strength is also our weakness. Our classroom diversity is treated as a problem, instead of a virtue.  We do not hold the mutual respect that is expected of a middle school class. More often than not we criticize, argue, and even resort to insulting.  We need to learn how to implement more tolerance and respect.  As a whole, our most challenging subject is reading. We need to read much more than we do now to reach our group and individual reading goals.

Alissa  STRENGTHS:  I am good at being respectful.  I am good at being friendly.  I am good at social studies.  I am good at being nice.  I am good at being very creative.  CHALLENGES:  I am not good at other students.  I am not good at math.  I am not good at my attitude.

Melanie  CHALLENGES:  I can be a negative leader.  I have low tolerance.  Math is really difficult for me.  Writing long pieces is difficult for me.  Being respectful is sometimes hard.  STRENGTHS:  I am good at reading.  I am good at giving ideas to teachers to make the class better.  I am good at the computer.  I am very creative.

Yariel  CHALLENGES:  I am not good at cleaning my room.  I am not good at being responsible.  I am not good at drawing.  I am not good at doing chores.  I am not good at talking in front of other people.  STRENGTHS:  I am good at sports.  I am good at games.  I am good at math.  I am good at playing around.  I am good at running.  I am good at dancing.

Waldidy  STRENGTHS:  I am good at soccer.  I am good at baseball.  I am good at math.  I am good at writing.  I am good at video games.  CHALLENGES:  I am not good at reading.  I am not good at social studies.  I am not good at science.  I am not good at being friendly.

Anthony  STRENGTHS:  I am good at sports.  I am friendly.  I love music.  I am nice.  I like reading.  I am respectful.  I like to recycle.  CHALLENGES:  I am not good at math  I am not good at spelling.  I am not good at self control. I call out a lot.

Stefon  STRENGTHS  I am good at math.  I love to read.  I am very good at writing.  I am good at expressing myself with adults.  I am a hard worker.  CHALLENGES  I have a hard time with my nerves.  I get nervous a lot.  I have a hard time saying the right thing to others in the grade.

Antonio  STRENGTHS:  I am good at math.  I am good at sports.  I am good at science.  I am good at rules  CHALLENGES:  I am not good at reading.  I am not good at writing.  I am not good at spelling.

Miguel  STRENGTHS:  I am good at drawing.  I am good at sports and gym.  I am good at building things with my hands.  I am good at answering questions when Mrs. Louisa reads out loud.  CHALLENGES.:  I am not good at spelling.  I am not good at math.  I am not good at reading long books.  I am not good at being respectful sometimes.

Jackmarie  STRENGTHS:  I am very good at reading.  I am very good at writing.  I am very responsible.  I am a strong leader/president.  I am creative.  CHALLENGES:  I am not very nice sometimes.  I am not good at group work.  I am not good at listening to others opinions.

Ms. Louisa  CHALLENGES:  I have a low level of frustration.  I do not socialize easily.  I have difficulty in math.  I have difficulty incorporating the Common Core Standards.  I have difficulty structuring my classes according to my lesson plan.  STRENGTHS:  I am hard-working.  I am creative.  I am responsible.  I love to read and learn.  I love to teach.  I love to organize things.

Ms. Colon  STRENGTHS:  Is good working in teams.  Is good raising student expectations.  Is good motivating students.  Is good at creating a rapport and creating trust with students.  CHALLENGES:  Has a hard time with gum and cell phone use in class.  Has a low frustration level.  Not taking things personally.
