3 RBC in the Marketplace RBC has a longstanding history of supporting new immigrants coming to Canada and wants to be the financial services provider of choice for New Canadians. RBC actively markets and responds to the needs of cultural markets, and key areas of focus include Koreans, Chinese, South Asians and Black communities. RBC re-launched its “Welcome to Canada” Newcomer to Canada internet portal: The portal offers additional products, services and advice to individuals who are immigrating to Canada or have been in Canada less than 3 years. Language Capability RBC will continue to offer clients the opportunity to conduct business by phone in one of 150 languages. Top 10 languages staff speak include: English, French, Italian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish, Urdu.
