Homework/Assignments 1. Homework is an important follow-up activity to regular classroom work. Assignments reinforce and review what has been taught in the classroom. Review of classroom work on a regular basis is necessary for success. 2. Homework is assigned and corrected together in the classroom. 3. Missed tests, quizzes and oral presentations can be made up on student time IF a valid reason is provided for missing the due date.

Notebook Organization and Textbook Requirements Your notebook will be organized by Units as follows: Intro, Units 1-5 and a section devoted to work on your culminating activity. Notebooks will be checked on a regular basis for organization and completion. Your textbook must be covered with either a book cover (which can be purchased at the dollar store or Staples) or with paper.

The group with the most points at the end of the unit wins a prize. Each unit there will be a seating change and thus new groups. I will try to be as fair as possible in terms of determining correct answers, etc.
