At the top of the virtual meeting room, you will see the Meeting Tab, click on “Manage My Settings”, select “My Connection Speed” and select DSL/Cable (even if you are on a cable modem, a LAN or a dial-up modem). Preparing for Your Session
You need to have a USB Headset microphone to have the best audio experience. You cannot use a built in microphone and computer speakers. Before you enter the virtual meeting room, have your headset plugged into your computer. Using Live Audio
Step 1 - To request microphone access “Raise your hand” by using the icon at the bottom left corner of the screen Step 2 - When you are given microphone access you need to click the on “lock Icon” in the audio bar at the bottom left corner of the screen. Step 3 - A pop-up box will appear and you must click Allow in the Flash Player Settings window to activate access to your microphone, video or web camera. When prompted to access your microphone you must click Allow in the Flash Player Settings window to activate access to your microphone, video or web camera.
To confirm that your audio is live you will see a small speaker icon next to your name and when you speak a “green recording” bar will be visible under the recording bar.
With multiple speakers, when you are not speaking, make sure you “Unlock” your microphone to mute/pause your audio.
Check Your Audio Settings At the top of the webcast screen you will see the Meeting Tab, click on “Manage My Settings” and select Audio Setup Wizard.
