A day in the life of Alexis A day in the life of Alexis

Alexis climbs the ladder to his house to drop off the wood he has collected.

If his family have enough food that day, he will eat a little before going to school, which starts at 7:30am.

Alexis’ classroom

Alexis’ teacher is called Genaro Antonio

Alexis is taught maths, Spanish, natural sciences and social sciences. He also does physical education and art and learns about the culture of his tribe – the Emberá.

After his early start Alexis may have a rest.

He also has to help his big sister, by looking after his nephew..
