One in every six Hong Kong citizens are battling poverty. As the issue prevails, the underprivileged will become increasingly in need of support.

350 thousand children live below the poverty threshold. Children who grow up in insufficient situations are prone to encountering more obstacles and social complications. This will affect their development and how they identify with the society and result in inter- generational poverty. Anti Poverty Day United Nations has recognized October 17 as International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, a day for raising awareness to the issue and minimizing the population who live in the poor. HKCNP invite your community to save a day in October and participate in Anti-poverty Day. Together we will use 10 minutes in October to commemorate and realize the needs of the underprivileged and donate $10 (or any other amount) to support our organization targeted to tackle this issue.
