About NIE Netherlands Stichting Krant in de Klas (Newspapers in the Classroom) was founded in 1976 by Dutch Newspaper Publishers’ Association Three objectives: -Promote literacy and readership -Promote media literacy -Promote citizenship through newspapers in education, for all levels of education (incl. language courses for adults)
