“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” Matthew 1:21-23

Caesar Augustus Made a decree that all the world should be taxed And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus” (Luke 2:1)

The Roman governor announces a census of the people decreed by Caesar Augustus

The citizens of Bethlehem gather to hear from the Roman governor of their province

Joseph, being of the linage of David, went forth with Mary who was great with child on a journey to Bethlehem to be taxed.

“And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.” Luke 2:6

“And she brought forth her first born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger: because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke2:7 “

“And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flocks by night” Luke 2:8 “And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were so afraid” Luke 2:9

“ And the angel said unto them, fear not; for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people……” Luke 2:10-12

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will towards men.” Luke 2:13-14

“And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is known unto us”  Luke 2:15 Shepherds

“And they came with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger” Luke 2:16

“And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told to them by the shepherds” Luke 2:17-18

“But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying God for all the things that they has heard and seen, as it was told unto them” Luke 2:19-20

Wise men from the east saw the star of the baby that was born and followed it to Jerusalem. Matthew 2:1

The Wise men asked Herod the King. Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Matthew 2:2

“And when they were come into the house they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts: gold, and frankincense, and myrrh” Matthew 2:11

Jesus was born that we might be saved. JESUS LOVES YOU!

Are you saved? Don’t walk away today without Him in your life!

Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart Will you open and let Him in?

Is not too late to accept Jesus into your heart Don’t leave this world without Him

Are you still thinking about making a decision? Do it Now, Don’t wait till Tomorrow.

There is none other name whereby we might be saved
