Welcome to Mrs. McCoy’s Math Class HN GeometryHN Geometry HN Alg. 2HN Alg. 2

Important Information –Search under faculty/staff – is the best way to communicate –Will reply with-in 24 hours

Supplies 3 ring binder Paper/graph paper Pencils Calculator - this is an important part of being successful in class and at home. –Ti 83/Ti 84 are recommended. –No class sets –All students must have their own. –Students can check-out calculators for the year through the media center. Contracts will be given out in class.

Class information Assignments –Calendars will be handed out and available on my website each month. They are subject to change and students are responsible for making the necessary changes. –They include classroom lessons, homework and upcoming tests/quizzes. Homework –This is an important part of being successful in math class. –It is assigned daily. –It might not always be checked but it will help prepare students for upcoming graded assignments.

Extra Help Tutoring – offered to help students with questions they have on assignments. Tues – Fri. 8:15am – 8:50am Afternoons available by request Peer tutoring will be available later in the year. A list will be posted on my website when available.

Make-up Work When a student is absent it is their responsibility to get any handouts/assignments that were missed in class. These are available in the folders at the front of the room. Test/Quiz – missed assignments and names will be posted on the board with a due date (which is 5 days from the day of the assignment). If assignments are not made up by the due date a zero will be given for that assignment.
