Project Overview The 2 nd graders are helping the United Way campaign by raising awareness in our school community and in Columbus. This week, students will focus on citizenship and community leaders. Students will be learning about being leaders by encouraging others to participate in the campaign. Second graders will be taking a field trip to Salin Bank, City Hall and the Police Department to learn more about leaders in our community.

Make sure to use complete sentences, capital letters and your best spelling. Begin typing the final draft on your chrome book after you have edited your work. 2.Wednesday: Field Trip 3.Thursday: Continue working on your final draft of your writing. 4.Friday: Complete your flyer, Letter to the Editor and Public Service Announcement. Be ready to share it with the class. We will be choosing the best writing to share on the radio and the newspaper. Flyers will be hung around our school encouraging everyone to participate in the United Way campaign.
