I. Health and Wellness A. Health – Well being of your body, mind, and relationships with others. 1. Quality of Life – Degree of overall satisfaction a person gets from life.

2. Life Expectancy – How long a person will live. a. Improved due to Health care, nutrition, working conditions, and sanitation.

II. Aspects of Health A. Health Triangle – Overall well being is based on physical, mental/emotional, and social health.

Wellness Triangle 1. PHYSICAL HEALTH –CARRY OUT EVERYDAY TASKS WITHOUT BECOMING OVERLY TIRED. –DIET, SLEEP, MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE ARE IMPORTANT.

2. MENTAL HEALTH s YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT YOURSELF - FACING DAILY PROBLEMS –DEAL WITH DAY TO DAY STRESS
