Selection Process – Phase II Selected candidates invited for two-day campus conference in late January or early February, including: –Interviews –Seminar –Class visits –Department visits –Social activities –Overnight stay in honors housing Decision letters sent in early March

Innovations in Honors (IIH) Offering new honors opportunities –Engaging more students in honors education through collaborative learning –Community-embedded –Problem-based learning –Honors thesis –Application deadline February 1 for currently enrolled UTC students or transfer students who have completed at least one year of college

High-Achieving Mocs Living Learning Community (HAM LLC) 38 new freshmen will participate Students live, work, and take classes as a cohort in a one-year experience Students who apply to UTC with a minimum 26 ACT and 3.5 high school GPA will be invited to join as long as space remains
