Design and make a product that could be sold in a tourist shop. GCSE Major Project

Things to consider: Worth up to 60% of your final GCSE grade. You can pass on the project work alone. You cannot pass if you do not complete your product! You have to make the product in school.

What to think about before you decide the type of product to make: Who will my intended user be? What would they like? It must be someone that you have easy access to, who you can question about what they want and who you can take a photo of before and after the product is made. What do I have the skills and patience to make? Do not make anything too difficult or complicated if you don’t like working hard or do not like using the sewing machines. The majority of your product must be made using the sewing machine. Hand sewing is only acceptable for decoration. Simple products get marked the same as more difficult ones, you only need to include 3 techniques. What am I interested in? You will be doing this project until next Easter, you must be able to stay interested in it until then.
