Why Nots!!! Grains Beans Dairy Sugar Processed Foods

Grains The grains we eat are not the same as the grains our Grandparents ate!!! Its all about the money. Genetically engineered, naturally modified, and also has Lectins. Our body does not digest Lectins and leads to “leaky gut”.

Beans These are part of the legume group which also include peas and peanuts. They grow in pods. These also have Lectins.

Dairy This one is kind of the wildcard. Some people can eat Dairy without any problems. The way to see if you should eat them is to stay Dairy free for a couple weeks, then have some Dairy and be aware of your sinuses.

Sugar Sugar is a DRUG. It produces 8 of the 11 by-products of Alcohol. When we eliminate, the food we eat tastes better and we find that we don’t need it!!!

Processed Foods Anything done to food to increase the shelf life is not natural to our body. This includes nitrates, nitrites, and MSG.

Sum It Up The Paleo Way If we eat healthy, natural foods, we will get more nutrients and energy. Our body does not have to work as hard to break down the “bad” things, so we will have more energy. It will also keep our immune system strong and we will be less likely to get sick.
