Nouns - 명사 Nouns can be either: Singular Or Plural
Singular Nouns Singular = ONE Use an article (a / an) before a singular noun

Plural Nouns Plural = MANY Add (s /es / ies) after a plural noun

S / ES / IES Usually we add ‘S’ to plural nouns Books Phones Shirts
S / ES / IES If the noun ends in “SH, CH, X, SS, S, Z” add “ES” Watches Boxes Brushes
S / ES / IES If the noun ends in consonant + y ( 자음 + y). Delete the “Y” and add “IES” Dictionary =Dictionaries Baby = Babies
EXCEPTIONS If a singular item has two parts it becomes plural.
