Arena Riga The multifunctional sports and recreation venue "Arena Riga" is one of the largest and most significant construction projects launched after Latvia regained its independence. With up to seats for visitors, modern technical equipment and a high quality service it has become a link within the network of the largest European multifunctional arenas, and a part of the show- business route as well. Arena opens doors to shows and sports popular all over the world – this was impossible before due to the lack of appropriate facilities. The project is carried out by the construction company “Merks” Ltd. in cooperation with the Riga City Council.
