Medecins du Monde’s logo was designed in November 1987 by Richard Rossin. Τhe dove in the center symbolizes international peace and medical care. The branch represents the five continents and the blue color represents their natural connections, which are the sky and the sea. MdM-Greece was founded in Greece in 1990 with the aim of providing humanitarian aid to all the vulnerable populations in Greece as well as all over the world. MdM-Greece is part of the International MdM Network, which includes 14 departments (Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Greece, Italy,Japan, Netherlands, Portugal,United Kingdom,Sweden,Switzerland)

Open Polyclinic Aim: Médecins du Monde Greece aim to improve the access to the health care of particularly marginalized population groups of the immigrants in Greece by providing free medical health care at first level and social services in urban centres

Open Polyclinic Activities are being implemented by medical and paramedical teams composed of volunteer specialised doctors, nurses, social workers and psychologists.

Open Polyclinic Importance: The open Polyclinics provide a wide range of services ranging from medical and psychological support to advocacy concerning human rights.
