Students will use this program to gain a deeper understanding of the conflicts within this United States domestic policy. Evaluate Manifest Destiny and determine if this policy was justified.

The unarmed Americans were able to hold off the Mexican army for 12 days! –Eventually Santa Anna and his army break through and defeat the Americans. –Although this is a Mexican victory, this buys Americans much needed time! –The Alamo becomes a symbol of American heroism!
