What I Already Knew! Mesothelioma is the type of lung cancer you receive when exposed to asbestos. Asbestos (A mineral fiber) comes from a building material called insulation. Surgery, Chemotherapy and Radiation is used to treat Mesothelioma.

What I Would Like to Know What is cancer? How to prevent lung cancer caused by asbestos. How to prevent lung cancer caused by asbestos. How long you can live with Mesothelioma if you are treated? How long you can live with Mesothelioma if you are treated? The difference between chemotherapy and radiation? The difference between chemotherapy and radiation? What are the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation? What are the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation?

What is Cancer?! Uncontrollable cell growth within specific tissue inside the body, forbidding normal cell growth and organ function. Which travels through the bloodstream and other areas of the body.

After the diagnosis of Mesothelioma the amount of survival is less than 5 years. Only 15 percent of lung cancers are found at an early stage. How Long You can Live With Mesothelioma if You Treated?

The Difference Between Chemotherapy and Radiation. Chemotherapy – A method of killing cancer cells using certain chemicals. Chemo can be given orally or injected into the blood stream. Radiation – Use of high-energy radiation to treat cancer. Coming from radioactive materials, and can be given either internally or externally.

Side Effects of Chemotherapy and Radiation. Radiation may cause: Tiredness, skin rashes, upset stomach, diarrhea, sore throat, difficulty swallowing and loss of hair. Story of My Seach… SIRS and Power Library are great resources when your looking for articles. Delicious has kept all my “cited” pages safe. The library had some great reference books. Gaggle has not deleted my project….soo far.

Growth as a Researcher.. I understand how to research online better. Learned about new great places to get resources. I feel more confident in where my resources came from.
