Welcome to Crescenta Valley High School! Dr. Linda Junge Principal Crescenta Valley High School

CVHS is an Award Winning school: 2015 California Gold Ribbon School Silver Medalist US News and World Report (top 3 %) and Newsweek Challenge Index—top 3% Los Angeles Magazine top 12 public high schools in Los Angeles Six Year Clear WASC Accreditation in 2011-12 that will continue through 2017- 18 Recognized by the Los Angeles Music Center as the top Visual and Performing Arts high school in Los Angeles County

CVHS is a High Achieving school: 84% of 11th graders met or exceeded standards on the CAASPP in ELA. 62% of 11th graders met or exceeded standards on the CAASPP in math. 56% of seniors passed at least 1 AP test at CVHS. CVHS administered over 1900 AP exams last year with a 79.75% pass rate. 93% of students passed the CAHSEE the first time they took it.

At CVHS we believe in a Rigorous Curriculum for All Students…. The importance of taking an academic curriculum applies to students who have "no intention of going to college." It is estimated that 85% of all jobs are now classified as “skilled,” meaning that they require some education beyond high school.
