Schools look like in India ? It does not have a roof. It does not have a roof. It’s a huge building. It’s a huge building.

Schools made of and how big is it ? It’s made out straws and concrete. It’s bigger than our school.

What is your subject and what do you learn? ► They learn English language, math, and history.

What kind of food do you eat?  Spicy food, rice, wheat, grains, seeds, vegetables, chicken, peas, apples, bananas, yogurt, lamb, bread, and curry.

How do you get to school?  They get to school from Bullock carts and rickshaws.

Do you wear uniforms? Men wear Dhoti. Women wear Saris.

Do you have recess or games? They have gallery to play.

Do you celebrate holidays? They celebrate a feast and Christmas. They celebrate a feast and Christmas.

Do you have chores? Girls only have chores mostly. But boys do not have any.

Do you have a principal/teacher?  They call their teacher sir or madam. Yes they do have teachers.

Do girls go to school? Girls do not go to school because they do it at home.

Do boys go to school? Boys do go to school but not girls.

Do most people have education? Most people do not have an education. They don’t even know how to read or write. Most people do not have an education. They don’t even know how to read or write.

What kind language do you speak? They speak Hindi. Most people speak 16 languages.

Do you switch for classes?  They do not switch classes.

Do you have grades? They do have grades.

What does your classroom look like? It has huge white boards, a big desk and big chairs. It has huge white boards, a big desk and big chairs.

Do you have specials? They do have specials. They have gym, music, library, and art.

What is your city like? Their city is crowded, Their city is crowded, together, and small backyards.

Do you have rules? They do have rules.

How many kids are in your class?  There are 80 or 50 people in the class.
