Project: « Development of biotechnology biogas and bio-fertilizer from plant waste » Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Institute of Plant Chemistry. Relevance of the project: Herbs, revised Pipeline for pharma - ceutical companies contain 0.3-5% of targeted products that have medicinal properties. Therefore, in the plant material accumulates a significant amount of waste in the form of chopped straw stems, leaves or roots, the number of which reaches an average of 85-90% by weight of the raw materials used. Process wastes pharma currently not recycled and are or burial or incineration, which significantly degrades the ecology of the environment.

Vegetable waste production at their disposal in landfills eventually rot pathogens spreading cholera, typhoid and others. Diseases and are a source of real epidemiological and environmental risk to the public. Generated in landfills, methane contributes to the greenhouse effect 21 times greater than CO 2. Waste incineration is also a big problem, since, in this case, toxic substances such as oxides of nitrogen and sulfur, dioxins, etc.. Gases from combustion can lead to air pollution and contribute to acid rain, and incinerator ash contain heavy metals and other toxins By dumping or incineration of waste:

t he need for huge amounts of plant waste to produce a sufficient amount of biogas for the needs of the economy and the associated transport costs. traditional anaerobic biogas reactor Traditional biogas plant processing technology farmothodov ineffective and very durable because of the high content of lignocellulosic waste (35-70%) Disadvantages of traditional biogas technology: l ow yield of biogas – 0,15 – 0,20 m 3 / kg. l ong duration of the fermentation time. l ow degree of decomposition of the substrate. c onstruction of bulky, expensive reactors. t he high cost of service and maintenance equipment.

In Chemistry of Plant Substances of AS of RUz studied the possibility of biotechnological processing plant waste to produce biofuels and bio- fertilizers. The feasibility of biotechnological method for the disposal of this waste is due to the ability of certain communities of micro-organisms to process waste from the production of biogas and bio-fertilizer with high biological activity. This method is more environmentally friendly than other methods of disposal of plant waste (incineration, burial, etc.), and the final products can be used for the production of herbal remedies and to improve soil fertility The purpose of the project: Develop an effective utilization of plant biotechnology waste production of herbal remedies with the production of biogas and bio-fertilizer and plant for its implementation

The proposed method provides stepwise bioconversion plant waste phase separation, while the phase hydrolysis of polymeric compounds, acid formation and methanogenesis are spatially separated and are implemented in three reactors connected in series Hydrolysis Acid education Methanogenesis In the process conditions can be varied independently of the fermentation conditions in each reactor, the ability to create optimal conditions for specific microflora in the reactors for each stage. Thus the final products having inhibitory properties for a given group are substrates for the other group, which ensures the stability of the whole process. This allows more than three fold increase in yield of biogas compared to conventional biogas technology significantly intensify the process generally reduce the overall volume of the reactor to reduce operating costs.

Objectives of the project: Developing an effective method for processing vegetable waste rich in difficultly decomposed lignocelluloses to obtain biofuels (methane) and organic manures. Testing, identification of bottlenecks, disadvantages and run the production line at the pilot plant in the Institute of Plant Chemistry Uzbek Academy of Sciences, receiving pilot batch of biogas (methane) for its own production and bio-fertilizers. Assembling the experimental sample of the installation. Development of the construction of a biogas plant, which provides optimal conditions for microbiological processes. Search and forming the most effective microbial communities for biotechnological processes.

Expected results and advantages of the project : Effective utilization of the hardly decomposable waste to produce biofuels (methane) in high yield. Reducing the cost of thermal energy production by replacing of its part on biogas. Generate additional profit from the sale of bio-fertilizers with costs on the export of waste. Environmental improvement of the environment, exceptions contamination of soil and water from landfill or incineration of waste. Reduce emissions of toxic odors pharmaceutical production, improvement of working conditions of workers pharmaceutical companies. Environmentally friendly biofertilizers restore the soil microflora, increase productivity and quality of crops, and improve the reclamation of water-physical properties of agricultural land.
