 All submissions to Turnitin will follow MLA formatting:  Header (if the piece is two or more pages)  Heading  Font size  Spacing

 No revisions for work submitted late.  No revisions for incomplete work regardless of submission date.  Revisions are due in an to me no later than three (3) calendar days from completion of grading.

 Emphasis will continue to be on the following elements of paragraph writing:  Clear topic sentence  Unified: All sentences support the topic sentence.  Coherent: All details are in a logical order.  Multiple topics require multiple paragraphs.

 Do the following in order to achieve an intellectual and mature voice and tone:  Objectivity: Keep your personal feelings out of text analyses. Save that for persuasive and personal essays.  Informal language: Familiar language (language used with people we know well) and slang have no place in analyses.  1 st and 2 nd Person: Use 3 rd person formal (one) instead of the more informal 1 st and 2 nd person.  Authors: Refer to the authors in your analyses. They have created everything you’re writing about.
