IN CAMPS AWAY FROM HOME AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT REFUGEES BY TYLER JOHNSTONE

WHAT IS A REFUGEE REFUGEES ARE NOT THE REGULAR PEOPLE LIKE WE ARE. THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM THEIR OWN HOMES AND PUT INTO CAMPS. THEY HAVE COME FOR MULTIPLE REASONS AND THEY ARE FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, SUCH AS SYRIA, AFGHANISTAN, UKRAINE, PAKISTAN ETC.

WHY THEY ARE AWAY FROM HOME LIKE I SAID EARLIER, REFUGEES HAVE LEFT THEIR HOMES FOR MULTIPLE REASONS. THE MAIN REASON WHY IS WAR IN THEIR HOMELANDS. IN A WAR, THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT WANT ANY NON-MILITARY CASUALTIES. IN CONCLUSION, THE GOVERNMENT SENDS CITIZENS TO A REFUGEE CAMP WHERE THEY CANNOT BE HARMED BY BOMBS OR BULLETS. OTHER REASONS ARE POVERTY, NATURAL DISASTERS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS.

THE COUNTRIES THAT ARE AFFECTED

US AND THEM WHERE WE LIVEWHERE THEY LIVE

WHY ARE REFUGEE CAMPS ARE NOT THE SAFEST PLACES TO BE REFUGEE CAMPS CAN BE GOOD IN SOME WAYS, BUT IN OTHER WAYS, THEY ARE NOT THE BEST PLACES TO BE.. THE MAIN REASON IS HIGH POPULATION OF STRANGERS. THERE MIGHT BE SOME REFUGEES THAT ARE RELATED, BUT 97% OF REFUGEES IN A REFUGEE CAMP ARE NOT RELATED. OTHER REASONS ARE HIGH LEVELS OF SICKNESS, HARSH SEASONS AND CLIMATE, AND UNSANITARY ENVIRONMENTS.

OUR EFFECTIVENESS OF ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM AND WHAT WE COULD DO TO STOP IT IN MY OPINION, I THINK AS A WHOLE WE HAVE NOT BEEN AS EFFECTIVE AT ADDRESSING THIS BIG PROBLEM. AS INDIVIDUALS, WE CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BY BUILDING HOMES FOR REFUGEES INSTEAD OF PUTTING THEM IN CAMPS. AS COUNTRIES, WE CAN WELCOME REFUGEES FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES TO OUR COUNTRY TO GIVE THEM A BETTER LIFE AND MAKE THEM FEEL SAFE.
