Who is a supporting character? Name: Catanze family Age: middle age Talents, Skills, Important Traits: were David's foster parents Three Descriptive Adjectives: love, protected, responsible ”Rudy and I are fighting for you and well do whatever it takes ” (Pelzer 203 ).

What is the story about? Setting: California Main Conflict: he had to be separated and moved to different foster homes

What is one of the major themes? Definition of Theme: fear “she must never know I told you! Never!” (Pelzer 47 ). “no, I cried shell take me away! ” (Pelzer 73 ).

What is one important scene? an important scene would be when David is the courtroom and he has to say the truth about this mother. HE WAS TO PICK TO EATHER STAY WITH HIS MOM OR GO TO THE FOSTER HOME. an important scene would be when David is the courtroom and he has to say the truth about this mother. HE WAS TO PICK TO EATHER STAY WITH HIS MOM OR GO TO THE FOSTER HOME.

Visual Image from an important scene the image that we imagine was when David was in front of his new foster home. “it’s a very nice home, ma’am” (Pelzer 85 ). This scene is important because that was his first day at the foster home. He felt shy and after some time he started to like it and felt like a home to him.

What connections can you make to this book? When I watched the mother beat his kid and abused of him, and someone found out and told authorities and then he got put in a foster home Mothers who abused their children has happened around the world and kids have gotten into foster homes of fear of being abused and that relates to the book because of the mother.

Why should you read this book? Reason 1-People should read this story because its based on a real story. Reason 2-It shows you how the kid has been treated and how he switches from foster homes. Reason 3-its also a heart warming book and it makes you think of how your family and friends actually love and cares for you.
