We see Open Health Tools as a community with the right values that can help foster improvements across the health IT landscape by driving down integration costs while providing much needed infrastructure. Involvement with Open Health Tools: We have contributed a working image of our Advanced Federal Healthcare Innovation Lab (AFHIL) environment to OHT in the form of virtual machine images that include configurations such as a working VistA environment, BCMA, newer VA components such as the CISS framework, as well as specific web services created in AFHIL allowing for the construction of innovations in a VA like environment.
