Erasmus Mundus – the programme Action 1 - Joint Programmes including scholarships Action 2 - Partnerships including scholarships Action 3 - Promotion of European higher education  Large partnerships between universities from the EU and universities from a specific region  Scholarships of varying length (1 month to 3 years)  Bachelor, master, doctorate, post-doctorate students + HE staff  Addressing different target groups including vulnerable groups EM. Action 2 :

Action 2 – Details of the project: the cycle 1. Planning and Organisation Institutional Commitment formalized by Memorandum of Understanding Sharing tasks and responsibilities Efficient communication mechanisms 2. Visibility and preparatory activities Working with local partners / authorities Tools and procedures for scholarship application and selection Agreement on recognition mechanisms 3. Implementation of individual mobility Student Agreements Services and facilities for students (incl assistance for visas) Administrative and financial management of scholarships 4. Monitoring Reports Quality Assurance Evaluation Regular monitoring and follow-up visits Sustainability strategy

Administrative Obligations: Mobility implementation Compliance with the mobility requirements Time frame of activities Start of the action: 15/07/2013 Start of mobilities: 1st cohort : 09/2013 – 31/12/2014 2nd cohort : 09/2014 – 31/12/2015 3rd cohort : 09/2015 – 31/12/2016 End of the action: 14/07/2017

Erasmus + Key Action 1 Learning mobility of individuals Erasmus-Erasmus Mundus action1 and2 1.Credit mobility: International opening of Erasmus, more mobility of students and staff between EU – non EU in both directions. 2.Degree mobility: Joint Master courses of excellent quality offered by consortium of EU/non universities to attract the very best students worldwide. 3.Student loan guarantee: to boost degree mobility within Europe.

Erasmus + key action 2 Tempus, Alpha, Edulink… 1.Erasmus Strategic Partnerships: more intense cooperation between institutions. 2.Knowlegde Alliances: structure partnerships between HEI and businesses 3. Specific support with neighbourhood countries: Capacity building through partnerships between EU and ENP universities with a mobility component. 4. Rest of the world: Capacity building between universities in the EU and Asia, Latin America & Africa.

Erasmus + Key action 3 1.Support the OMC, Higher Education Modernisation Agenda, Bologna Process. 2.Support development and implementation of EU transparency tools and EU wide networks. 3.Support Policy Dialogue with third countries.
