The new way of shape modeling! The functional modeling by Caelum XXen is a brand new modeling method enabling to put design intent into model. - Design intent into modeling - 1. Maintain the space 4. Create a pocket 2. Maintain the space for a certain objective As a pocket feature is moved outside of body, the wall to maintain the pocket feature will automatically be created. -設計意図の織り込み例- ①空間を保つという設計意図の織り込み 穴があいているところには、他の部品がはいるので「ここには何も作成したくない」という、空間を保つ設計者の意図(設計意図」が織り込まれています。ですので、リブのプロファイルを移動させても、保たれた空間にはリブは作成されません。つまり、システムが設計者の意図に合わせて形状を作成してくれるのです。 ②対象物のスペースを確保するという設計意図の織り込み ちょうど粘土にものを押し当てるような形で円柱をリブの立っているボックスに押し当てます。リブは、円柱の形に合わせて変形されます。 ③シェルを保つという設計意図の織り込み シェル化したモデルを分割するときに、「シェルを保ちたい」という設計意図を織り込めば、分割後もシェルが自動的に作成されます 3.
