We are going to talk about Asiatic Black Bear~!! 박준홍

They live in: Korea and northeast China What makes the unique: They are big black furry animals with V shaped white spots on there chests.

Physical distinctive: They can grow up 2meters in height and weighs up to 200kg. What they usually eat: Both plants and meat, Insects and barries, Bees and eggs. A fun fact about black bears: They can stand on there hind legs better then any other bear.

Why are they vulnerable? Because hunters are continuing to hunt them illegally for fer and gall bladders( 웅담 ). Also people cut down forests to develop them into cities.

(1)Although no one knows exactly how many Black bears are left, they are vulnerable and w ill soon become endangered if people continu e to hurt them. (2)1000bears are killed annually and only 1/5t h of their habitat remains.

Where they live now: The black spots are where the black bears no longer exist!

(Why should we care?) Because we are the ones who are responsible. 에 ~ 정인기 “If” humans did not hunt them and dist roy there habitats, black bears will not be i n any danger.

WE can make places like the DMZ Where no humans can go…

The government can annually free black bears into the wild

WWF: World wide fund for nature They make funds for nature and animals

WSPA: World society for the protection of animals (They exist to stop animal cruelty across the globe )
